Car dealer consolidates lots and eliminates eye sore If
you regularly drive Woodville Road in Oregon you've noticed the
transformation of a long-time eye sore into the new home of Nationwide
Auto Finance.
Al Tawil, an Oregon resident, has invested $300,000 into the building
and parking lot at the site that once housed Andy Handy and more
recently the Boomtown Flea Market. Tawil plans this November to open the
area's largest used-car lot on the site consolidating his three
existing locations. Nationwide operates two used car lots on Woodville
Road and a storage and repair facility at 2160 Oakdale. All are in East
Toledo. Tawil estimates he will have some 500 cars on display once he
becomes established at the new location.
Tawil has installed a new roof, tucked and repainted the exterior,
added landscaping and repaved the parking lot. The building has 95,000
square feet and will house a garage to detail and mechanically prepare
cars for sale, an office area and space that Tawil hopes to rent to
auto-related businesses such as insurance agents and after-market parts
specialists.
The company will have 12 to 13 employees. source: Click here
